I'm reposting this compilation of my top online extra money makers for all the new friends on Facebook and new readers here on the blog.

In January of 2010, I began putting more effort into my extra money making ventures to see just how close I could get to replacing the income that I was making with my "real world" job. Many of you know that I took medical leave to have some oral surgery that ended up taking nearly 6 monthes to be completed and for me to heal and get back to normal. (Yes, it's took way longer than I planned, but that is a whole other post!)

I took advantage of my newly found "downtime" and began utilizing all the extra money makers that I'd piddled with from time to time. Ebay, Amazon, a flea market booth, paid emails, surveys...you name it, I've tried it all! So, I focused on the ones that have actually worked for me and that I'd actually received a check from, and the results came in !

After a very tedious detailing of payouts from each of these avenues, I discovered that I actually exceeded my average paycheck when working! WOOHOO!
It's harder to see on a daily basis, because it may come in $5 here and $10 there, so I made a point to keep a log of each and every payment I received for one entire month.

But, I have found that my own combination of those that work best for me and a little extra time and effort on my part can and have produced a dependable amount of extra money. I've been testing out another paid survey site over the past month and have found it to be another great and Legitimate opportunity to earn extra money for taking surveys online.

Valued Opinions pays you up to $5 for each survey that you complete. Each survey invitation will detail the amount the survey is worth and how long it should take to complete.

Signup is simple and quick, unlike some others with lengthy forms and "offers" and ads that you have to skip through.

As I always clarify, the more you participate in surveys offered by companies, the more surveys they will offer to you. Also, make sure you complete that particular sites "profile" for your household, as it helps them to target you for specific surveys.

And remember, there is no such thing as get rich quick or start taking surveys and leave your day job next week! It has taken me many years to be able to build a predictable income that replaced my "real world" job. It starts very small and will build over time. As with all things, you get out of it what you put into it!
