I received and tried the following variations of Udderly Smooth products. They were all different and excellent for their stated use.
Moisturizing Lotion - 16oz bottle w/ pump: This is a very light and non-greasy lotion, excellent for all over and daily use!
Shea Butter Foot Cream - 10oz tub w/ pump: A little thicker than the Lotion, also light & no overbearing scent
Udder Cream - 4oz Tube: This is my favorite! It is much thicker and worked wonders of my pedicure deprived heels! Although thicker, still did not leave any greasy or uncomfortable after effect. I used it on my hands, elbows, feet. Very rich!

ReplyDeleteI work at a restaurant full time. I wash my hands constantly, do dishes and use cleaners. When I am home I am doing things that go along with having a 1 year old so, again, I am washing my hands constantly, doing dishes and using cleaners! My hands are often cracked so badly that most lotions burn and don't really help anyway. I am looking for a solution; winter weather will only make it worse!

Originally made for cracked cow udders and teats, this simple cream works wonders on human hands and feet. The ingredients are very simple: Allantoin, Dimethicone, Lanolin Oil and Propylene Glycol in an Emollient Base. And it's cheap! $4.00 or so for 12 ounces! This isn't a "designer" cream but it works on cracked hands, very dry or chapped ones, and hard working, rough ones with no stinging or lasting greasiness. I am not a huge fan of the scent but it makes a great foot cream for me. I give this 5 stars. It's all about results and this creams gets them.
ReplyDeleteI wash my hands a lot, so as a result my hands are often dry and cracked. I'm somewhat of a skin lotion hoarder and love to try new products (or new-to-me products) so I was intrigued when I came across the 4 oz. tube of Udderly Smooth Udder Cream at my local drugstore. I had never seen nor heard of this product and was surprised that a lotion made for use on cows was being sold for humans.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first tried Udderly Smooth, it was a little hard to get past the weird scent. It's not a horrible smell (at least in my opinion) but it's definitely not anything fruity, floral, or remotely close to perfume. On a good note, the scent isn't overpowering and doesn't last very long.
I've seen a few reviews that state that this product is runny but I haven't had that problem at all. In fact, this cream is a thicker consistency, which I prefer. I don't have to worry about it running down my hands while I rub it in. The cream does take a bit longer to absorb into my skin, but I don't mind it because it lasts long and really does work well to make my hands feel soft and smooth.
I keep my tube of Udderly Smooth on my computer desk and use it throughout the day. I like this product because it's inexpensive (retails for around $2 for a 4 oz. tube) and works well. There really is no "udder" cream like this one.
