I posted on Facebook about this yesterday and so many of our fans & readers were not aware that there really is an absolutely FREE site to get your Credit Score. It's NOT a free trial, they won't ask for your credit card info and there are no hidden fees, renewals and all the other hoopla that the "Free Credit Score" offers have become known for.
I've used Credit Karma for quite awhile now. I started using it when I was nearing the final payoff phase of my 10+ year self created, Mountain of Debt.
What I observed is that instead of charging you a fee, as all the other websites do, they will run unobtrusive ads (banners) directly on their site for financial institutions, credit cards and other personal finance services in order to compensate and be able to offer Credit Scores Legitimately and completely FREE to consumers.

With other sites, I've taken advantage of the "Free Trial" offers just to get mine in the past, only to find I'm billed an outrageous amount later as a "renewal" because I forgot to cancel. I'm soooo sick of those type of deceiving offers !
