PRODUCT REVIEW: BALTIC AMBER TEETHING NECKLACES-INSPIRED BY FINN

I was so excited to 2 get these beautiful little necklaces in the mail for my grandbaby to test out while she was teething. They are so petite and pretty...you'd never guess they were actually serving a pain relieving purpose!

These necklaces are made to wear, but not to chew!

Among other things, amber is a natural analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-inflammatory. When amber is worn on the skin, the warmth of the skin releases trace amounts of healing oils on the skin. Commonly known as "teething jewelry," baltic amber has been a natural and traditional European remedy for teething discomfort for hundreds of years. To read more about the many benefits of baltic amber, click here.

These necklaces INSPIRED BY FINN, are handcrafted and are made of authentic Baltic amber, the most esteemed type of amber in the world. The translucency of amber depends on the amount of air bubbles contained within a piece of amber and their distribution. Some believe the color is related to the type of tree source.

Succinic acid is the most beneficial component of the amber. It is scientifically accepted that the darkest colored amber generally contains less succinic acid than lighter colors. The more cloudy or opaque amber is, the more succinic acid it contains (and usually the more cloudy amber is the nearer to the color white it becomes).

The necklace fastens with a screw clasp, and the necklace cord is knotted in between each bead.

WARNING - Necklace contains small parts; Children should be supervised when wearing jewelry, and it should be removed when the child sleeps.

  1. This is the best idea for teething that I've ever seen!! I'd love to have it for my 1 year old, who's starting to cut those extremely painful molars. Tylenol just doesn't seem to do the trick like the doctors say it does! She also LOVES being prissy and wearing necklaces, bracelets, etc! This sounds like the perfect product for us!!

  2. Wow... I am so intrigued by this! My 10 month old, Chloe, is SUCH a happy little girl...unless she is teething or it's the middle of the night! 10 months old and STILL NOT SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT!!! AHHHH!! And why does it seem that a little one is cutting a new tooth every other day.... they should just come all at once and save us mothers some sanity!! SO.... After reading your post and blog (which I LOVE!) I went straight over to the "Inspired By Finn" page, liked them, and went on to their website to learn more! I am IN LOVE with this idea! I am currently trying to be as holistic and green as possible and I HATE giving my precious girl Tylenol every other day (which doesn't seem to help much) to aid her discomfort! I would LOVE to be lucky enough to win this AWESOME prize!! Lil Chloe deserves some relief....and we both deserve a full night of precious sleep!!!
Thank you Melina and Wendy for offering this giveaway and for the chance to win!

  4. I absolutely love these!
    Earthy, natural, chemical free!
Friends think I am crazy to try one but the way I see it... I am willing to try anything (especially natural) that will help soothe my babies discomfort. I would build a fire in my back yard and dance around it if I thought it would help.
